I’ve decided that I need a first-gen Montero.
But searches suggest that they are almost none for sale. My family had that and an AW1 MR2 when I was growing up—neither of which I got to drive—and I desperately want to recreate that two-car garage again.

I kinda have a thing for Mitsubishi lately. Like, I feel they’re decent cars you can get for great value. A well kept secret.

I recall having one of these once as a rental. I thought the acceleration was quite impressive in 1st for an I4. It was only impressive in 1st though. Once it shifted into second, it completely fell on its face.

I think you have them confused with Kia.

I bought my outlander 8 months old from dealer, 15k miles, SE trim, for 17k including TTL and got warranty as for a new car (10y/100k miles). Depreciation of those are blessing for families that need reliable cars for good money. I am surprised why more people are not buying those. There is nothing wrong with this car. And who cares what you are driving?

I’m not sure. Maybe it’s part marketing. Maybe it’s part features or interior materials?
